Self Discovery (Swayam ki Khoj) for the Young Aspirants in Career Making

Hi ! An important aspect of Self Discovery (Swayam ki Khoj) for the young aspirants in career making is knowing and realizing certain facets of their learning which would make them ready for their career and life. Personally had an opportunity to go through the feedback of few Interview reports of My Post graduate students of Management and could identify a few critical areas on which the younger generation need to focus at a stage when they find themselves at the door steps of career making. 

The feedback report emphasizes a lot of effort to be done on 

Subject Knowledge

Industry Knowledge

General Awareness 

and also emphasizes relating conceptual knowledge with practice which implies experiential learning. Also knowing is not everything what is more important is Conveying. Vague Communication doesnt work at all rather it is negative. One needs to Think, Analyse, Assimilate and then Talk. Thus brings the point of importance of a Thinking and Analytical Mind. While making a point one should not lack evidence to support it. And this can only happen if one is carrying knowledge, can think, can comprehend, analyze and then convey !! 

Communication i.e. Reading, Talking, Writing is the next important thing which has been highlighted in the reports. And a lot needs to be done to improve Confidence, Enthusiasm, Presenting points of evidence, Presentation Skills, Smartness and more to be an effective communicator which can leave a lasting impact on the minds of people who matter. Thinking and Talking is the biggest differentiator. However, carelessness,  over confidence should be avoided at any cost. A Casual and a Non serious attitude are most damaging traits which should be avoided at any cost. 

Self Awareness ( as a part of Self Discovery ) is something which one should indulge in quite often as it brings in focus and clarity, a direction and leads to initiatives and perseverance. Excellence cant be attained on a press of a remote button, it is a continuous journey and while treading the path of excellence it is important that one often indulges in Self Discovery which unfolds leafs of  the 'Self' and creates awareness. Being Self Aware and working in the right direction brings in Confidence and Enthusiasm and Self Belief, three things very important for a successful and resilient journey.

Aamantran hai aap sabhi ka – swayam ki khoj mein
Ek bari khoj -- aakhir ye swayam hai kya
ek prani matra – ek jeeevit machine – ek wayqti –
ya phir khuch aaur -- bhavnaon ke phhool te phoot te balloon – rishton ke bel ki ek lat – parivarik parivesh ka ek jura ya kata hua Ansh
